A Wardrobe Stylists Winter Wardrobe 2010

I realise that because of my position as your wardrobe stylist, you look to me and my style as a guide for yourself to some extent.

I thought that in this issue I would add my wish list of items I will be adding to build my winter wardrobe and why!

Winter skirt:- Alannah Hill, black leather ‘I adore you skirt’ Tick

Cost $389  

Why: This is a good basic that is quite versatile. I can wear with boots, heel or a ballet (if I wanted!). It’s plain, simple yet stylish and gives me a flat tummy :-) I can belt it or leave it plain, make it pretty or rock chick!

Pretty Blouse:- Sportsgirl – Violet, Tick

Cost $79.95

Why: It’s not black, it’s sooo pretty, I can wear with jeans, slacks or my new leather skirt.

Leather Jacket: Still looking!! Have spied a couple, one Howard showers in David Jones and one in Kookai, my uncertainty tells me not to jump in.

Cost: won’t go over $300    (White Suede has some nice ones!)

Why: I want one that’s light that I can dress up and down, great for casual weekend wear.

Ankle boot: Santini, Black or Taupe suede, Tick

Cost: $185

Why: They are very elegant to wear with the cue jodpurs I will tell you about next! Great under jeans, simple yet stylish. I love Santini shoes as they have a mixture of everything!

Jodphurs: Cue. Black with silver buckles and a wrap across the tummy, (helps to hide my belly). Tick

Price: $275

Why: Stylish plus!! Different for me, I am so excited as I tried so many and found a pair that look and feel great. These will work with a flat/wedge, a heel or inside long boots.

All of the above are my basics for winter 2010, anything else I buy will simply be bits and pieces to grow what I have, bits of fashion fluff as well as accessories.
